Follow the dispersal and taphonomy of an assemblage collected from the Ambo group, later swept into the La Mina basin during a fluvial event from the more mountainous Cordillera da Costa.

Exploring the paleoecology and paleoclimatology of Gondwana as it experienced icehouse to greenhouse transitions, providing insights about the icehouse climate state we inhabit.

Examination of Moscovian fossils entombed in anchimetamorphic slate from the St. Clair locality of Pennsylvania. Exploring the rare taphonomy and paleoecological conditions, which are known only to one other site.

Simulating plant evolution and taphonomy to better understand the biases of fitness in the fossil record.
Independent Biostratinomy Research

Studied above-ground, non-gastric decomposition in porcine assemblages over 3 experiments. Decay was examined through the stages of disarticulation, dispersal, and accumulation.

Collected soil data, tracked rainfall, took photographs and other qualitative observations.
