 Andrew is an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a BA in mathematics and philosophy, with research interests including finite model theory, mathematical logic, and the philosophy (of mathematics). He works closely with Dr. Scott Weinstein, director of Penn’s interdisciplinary Logic and Computation Group. He is a recipient of the CURF University Scholars fellowship, the Hayden Scholarship, and a fellow of the Collegium Institute, as well as a 2022 Medical Humanities fellow. Andrew is an active member of the Penn Philosophy Society, Penn Undergraduate Biotech Society, the Penn Infectious Disease Club, and the Collegium Institute.

His previous research experience at Penn was with Dr. Hermann Pfefferkorn’s paleobotany lab, describing Incertae sedis taxa of Mississippian period flora swept into present-day Peru. He also briefly worked with Dr. Doug Jerolmack on a NASA funded trip to White Sands National Park, which aimed at improving robot-aided exploration of planetary environments.

While not at Penn, Andrew works as an apprentice funeral director in greater Philadelphia, and more recently, funeral home management and operations consulting. He is also enrolled as a part-time student at American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, where he is pursuing licensure as a funeral director. Andrew also helps facilitate a student-run grief support group on Penn's campus called Actively Moving Forward.
